I just watched this brilliant piece of investigative journalism on the CBC's The Fifth Estate about Dick Cheney and Halliburton. I wish all Americans had access to CBC to see what kind of snake this man is.

It's scary how much power this evil man has accumulated.

Now I understand very clearly why so many investagations involving him have gone nowhere. The quote that sticks in my mind: "If you don't tell Cheney what he wants to hear, you will be out of a job."

It really was brilliant. Amazing interviews with Sen. Lautenburg, Joseph Wilson, an ex-military/CIA operative, and many others. It's as well done and revealing a piece of journalism I've seen on this stinking administration. Truly chilling. I'm so glad I get CBC here in Vermont. It's invaluble. Try and get a copy of this show! Bravo and thanks Fifth Estate.

I've been living here for a while (in Toronto), and I'm starting to think that there must be something in the water (fortunately I drink bottled).

Everyone here complains about Bush and Cheney, saying they're setting the world on fire, CREATING terrorists instead of defeating them (go figure), and manipulating the American public with their control of the "RIGHT WING" media.

Yes, folks, that's right. The Canadians think our MMM is RIGHT WING.

That's how left they are.

And it only gets worse. They pride themselves on their free health care for all and their peacemaking foreign policy and look down on us like the thirty million democrats that they are.

It's disgusting. We need to send the CBC a message. I've already gone to their site and sent about a dozen letters insisting that they KEEP THEIR NOSES OUT OF OUR BUSINESS -- OR ELSE!!
