RANT: I hate the phrase security mom as much as I hated soccer mom or more

Why do we (meaning the country and the media) always have to talk about women as though they're fucking morons?

Hey, it turns out that the "brain Moms" also known as the too-smart-to-fall-for-Bush's-Lame-Ass-Failure Moms are the biggest percentage of Moms this year.

Security Mom's is a 100% invention of the Republican party in order to a) lie to the public and create a "horse race" for womans votes where there isn't one b) get yet another opportunity to talk down in an insulting and patronizing way to woman and get the entire national media to accept it as perfectly fine.

For the conservative world, women don't exist as human beings in our own right. The only women whose interests will be considered are the fill-in-the-blank Moms', a faceless crowd whose only claim on the conservatives' interests is their capacity for staying home in the Kuchen mit Kinder, excersizing their minds on dirty diapers and baking cookies, and buying gas guzzling Sport Fertility Vehicles.

I appreciate your rant more than you know. Is there any mother or woman for that matter who doesn't want security for all? I've been turned off by all the artificial demographic groups invented in recent years. I suppose that since all women care about security, the inference may be that all women are or should be for *Bush. "If we aren't for *Bush, then what sort of women are we?" Another load of divisive bushit.

The language of this administration has been the topic around here off and on and this is another example of their measured deceit. No wonder you're turned off - it's all so abrasive.
