What Did Coulter Mean

Today while listening to unfiltered I heard that Ann Coulter had accused Democrats of becoming the jock sniffers of veterans. I do not really understand her meaning. Is she accusing Democrats of sucking up to veterans? What did she mean by this comment?

1. What she meant to say was "I am insane and am astounded that anyone

takes my schizoid drivel seriously. Most psychotherapists would lock me up immediately were it not for the six figures a year I receive from the Heritage Foundation, which makes me appear legitimate. Someone, ANYONE, please kill me."

That's what she meant to say, but it came out as "Democrats are jock-sniffers." Happens to me all the time; I can totally sympathize.

but I think she's accusing Kerry of running to the right.

...is an uncomplimentary term to describe non-athletes who like to hang around athletes and bask in their reflected glory.

I particularly love it when she goes off on reporters for being lazy and not doing any research in the middle of her one column she writes a week that rarely if ever involves any research.
