Do you believe Saddam Hussein intended to produce weapons of mass destruction?

9. Read the poll a little more closely...
...it does not ask if Saddam had WMDs, only if he personally intended to produce them. If the first question had been asked, the overwhelming majority of Americans would now say "no"...but that's not what they ask, is it?

It's a trick question, IMHO.

2. Right now 60% yes, 40% no...
Scott Ritter was just on Wolf's show and was explaining how the new WMD report is being spun based on Saddam's "supposed intentions". They can no longer spin it on the basis of real WMD, so, they are trying to justify it by saying that he "intended" to produce WMD.

:wtf: This poll really needs a turnaround... GO VOTE!

3. I took that poll and it disappeared
I couldn't find the results and couldn't take it again. So I'm not sure my vote counted.

7. 60% yes, 40% no DU needs to help this poll.
Show you how effective the Bush spin machine was yesterday. We need more appearances by Scott Ritter. Like on Meet the Press and Hardball. I bet they won't touch him with a ten-foot pole.

8. That's a poorly worded poll, IMHO....
The trick here is the fact that we invaded Iraq based on the NeoCon lies that Iraq had WMDs after 1991.

If you answer "yes", that will be spun as indicating that most Americans believe Saddam was a danger to the world community.

If you answer "no" that will be slapped down as flying in the face of what Saddam had in his inventories PRIOR to 1991, and what he has recently said in regards to wanting to resume the Iraqi WMD programs.

10. Yes, it's a non-issue that plays into Bush's hand. WHO CARES if he...
... "intended" to produce WMDs?!? As Kerry said today, that's not the issue. He said there are some 35 nations with at least "programs" aimed at producing WMDs, and we don't invade all of them!

And, as it turns out, Saddam didn't even have THAT!!

11. I voted 'no' although ..
I'm sure he wanted to produce WMD. Whether he actually could ever produce them again under the sanctions is the real question, which of course they are not asking about.
