cops catch guy with 300 completed voter registration cards
MPR just ran a story about a canvasser for ACORN, stopped by cops in Twin Cities; they were filled out weeks ago but never turned in.
The guy was fired by ACORN some time ago, mn. public radio just reported.

the weirdness continues....

The Ledger, FL - 15 hours ago
snip...... ACORN head organizer Heather Partlow told a Times reporter that workers, ranging in age from high school students to retirees, are paid $6.15 an hour, plus incentives, to collect voter registration forms. Workers have to meet quotas, she said: "If they don't reach the standard in three or four days, they have to be terminated. We ask for 15 to 20 cards a day for a six-hour shift."

Although ACORN called to verify the information, the registration card, along with many others, was still turned in to the Pinellas County Elections Office. Charlie Schuh said he received a letter from the office telling him the registration was not received before the deadline.
