We've got a thousand + Americans dead in Iraq, and this is the big story?

I don't understand the state of affairs here in America. We can all sit idly by and watch our own countrymen die daily in Iraq, not even bat an eye. But god for bid when Earnhardt uses profanity it's the biggest issue this side of Bill Clinton getting a bj! My god, has society really come to this? Where a swear word is more criminal than murder?

Why not this kind of fuss about the fact OUR president is sending OUR neighbors off to die for no good reason?
