INTRODUCING... DU COMIX!

We are very pleased to announce that today DU is introducing a new regular feature for our homepage: DU Comix!

DU Comix are created for Democratic Underground by Rob McGrath, who posts on DU under the username Atman. These political cartoons are created especially for DU, and they are published here first -- before they even show up on Rob's own website.

We're really excited about DU Comix. We think it's a great addition to our lineup of exclusive features: The Top Ten Conservative Idiots, The Plaid Adder, Ask Auntie Pinko, and Equal Time with Bob Boudelang.

6. Passive new registerants need automatic e-newsltr weekly: why not send the

cartoon with 3 great thread/posts from the week?

Newbies likely to be independents, and many also on the passive side.
They may not visit the site regularly on their own initiative.

So an automatic enewsletter will keep them in touch with LW news ideas... which may be nowhere in their state... Like Alabama.

EXAMPLE;
Such enewsletters have kept me, who am pretty passive on environment stuff... in touch with Greenpeace. I never visit their site, since registering, yet their newslttr keeps me informed.

I did two versions, in case the pee was too harsh. But then I thought, this guy has killed tens of thousands of people for his lies and to line his families pockets. THAT'S harsh. My cartoon is just a little scribble.

Glad you caught that! Oh, and I originally had "Knock 'em dead, W! - Love, UBL" signed on the photo on the mirror, but you couldn't read it that small, so I removed it.

That's great to hear! I suspected somebody on DU had purchased stuff...nice to match screen names to them! Can you e-mail a pic of a sticker or shirt in use? I never get to see where the stuff goes. I've sold a lot of BushCo stuff in Europe and even Nepal, France and New Zealand! I wish I could get pics of some dude in Tibet with a BushCo shirt on!
