NPR 'Morning Addition' story on people being screened at Bush appearances
good to hear this covered finally.
Pretty good segment, they spoke with people who were threatened with arrest and called a "threat" for having Kerry stickers etc.

1. Last Wednesday at Wilkes-Barre: invitation only. Protestors kept two
blocks away from the Kirby Center. Band playing in town square to mute the sounds of protest.

Now if the network news and corporate media finally acknowledge that the cheering crowds are hand-picked, I'll be satisfied.

2. Yeah, but the only reason they're talking about it now
is because it plays into the "bubble" story they're using to "explain" why Bush sucked in the debate.

And of course it's his "handlers" fault, not his, you know. THEY kept him away from people and reporters all this time and focused too much on image. 'Cause there must be some explaination for his suckage that's NOT HIS FAULT.

Couldn't possibly be that he's just a freaking dumbass.

4. The focus was illegal use of the secret service & civil rights violations
It's a serious 8 minute story.

This is worth listening to. Yeah it's late but pretty powerful. They talked to more than 10 people (didn't count) who had been expelled, arrested/jailed for 2 hours (as a security risk!?) for things like having a Kerry sticker on thier wallet - by the secret service - at non-campaign events.

Campaign Security Screening Crowds for Doubters

Some would-be attendees at President Bush's campaign events say they're being asked to leave for wearing clothes or stickers that support the president's opponent. At Sen. Kerry's rallies, the presidential hopeful ruefully acknowledges the presence of the opposition. NPR's Nina Totenberg examines the rights of campaign event planners and attendees.

9. It's "Morning Addiction" in my case
Flame me now NPR haters, but I know of no better AM news source.... And yes, that was a great report about the improper use of the secret service. DUers have known about it for months. Thanks to NPR this AM, millions of listeners heard about what we already knew.

The pompous puppet is a sociopath, and it's a full-blown psychosis.
