Ethics Panel Hands DeLay Second Rebuke in a Week
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 08:35 AM by demnan
The decision by the House ethics committee Wednesday to admonish Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas), the second time the panel has done so in a week, sheds new light on a 2002 incident involving Westar Energy, Inc,. a Kansas-based firm, and efforts by company officials to win Congressional approval of a legislative provision potentially worth hundreds of millions of dollars to the firm.

I'm sure this was mentioned but I didn't see it posted. I happened to catch some late night repeats on C-SPAN last night. The Ethics Committee made a bipartisan vote to slap Delay's hand yesterday. Nancy Polosi came on and Steny Hoyer spoke about DeLay's crooked goings on and the fact that one of his aides is a wanted fugitive. You had to see it. It was big news yesterday.

Remember, a vote for - insert name of your competent Republican Congressman - is a vote for Tom Delay.

2. Those "rebukes" and "admonishments"
probably really wear on someone as sensitive as Delay. I'm sure if he continues as he has, eventually they may even "chastise" him.

3. Isn't DeLay another "Good Christian" leader who
could do no wrong.

Look at the hair. That hair style gives them away every time.

Or light blue polyester suits. With diamond rings.

5. Same thing as a
right wing Christian. Look at what a mess Falwell is, and Jimmy Swaggert, and Franklin Graham. They are all just a mess.
