The Media has fallen prey to the Kent Brockman effect.
I remember an old Simpsons episode where Homer saves Springfield from a nuclear meltdown by covering his eyes and doing eenie-meenie and then pushing the button.
At the end of Kent Brockman's interview with Montgomery Burns he says, "Well this reporter promises to be less suspicious and more trusting from now on."
The American Press has become like Kent Brockman.

1. "And THIS reporter welcomes our new insect overlords..."
You're right. They have.

4. But we are the ants!
There will be some Brockmanesque turn-arounds as they realize Kerry is going to win.

2. No the American Media has become a clownish, cacophonous version
of Soviet Pravda.

Kent Brockman: We win again. But the real winners here are Marge's Hors D'Oeuvres.
Homer: How do you come up with such witty remarks?
(focuses in on ear plug/mic)
Guy in the van: I guess you could say its my racket.
Kent Brockman: I guess you could say I'm Iraqi.
Homer: Get off my property.

5. The problem is
that the media won't go after Republicans.

But they'll damn sure hound a Democrat to death!
Witness what they did to Clinton!

From that, we can be sure that they will hound Kerry in the same way.
Misdirection indeed!

So what can we, as average Americans, do to get the actual truth? Just blog? Or organize Free Presses in all the cities we can?
I don't know but we have to do something!

I still say if they all weren't going crazy running around about a stained blue dress, they actually may have prevented terrorist --including 9-11-- activities.
But no. The Clinton blow-job is all they could focus on.

Wish we were back in those days.

6. "Some people call it the army...
but a more alarming name would be THE KILLBOT FACTORY!"

He sensationalizes and puts sappy crap on...so I think you're right.
