Argh...morning news
I know, I must step. away. from. the. TV.

I turned it on to see what they'd say about the jobs report. I waited. And waited.

A looong segment on people in Baghdad drawing pictures of schools; comparisons made with Russia. Then an interview with some blonde woman talking about the fear of having the election polls hosted at schools.

Then talking about the debate. Kerry stayed in a "luxury resort" to do debate prep. WHY oh why oh why are they always saying Kerry stays in a "luxury" or "posh" resort????

Does * stay in a Motel 6? They never mention where he stays.

Okay, I just heard a passing mention of a mediocre jobs report, in the context of the debates.

Now they're showing * saying that when Kerry ran for Congress, he said we shouldn't take action without the U.N. voting on it. "I'm not making this up!" Bush laughs.

TV is now OFF! Thanks for letting me rant. :)

5. Come to think of it, they ran the "cupcake" story first...
That bugs me on so many levels.

2. "he said we shouldn't take action without the U.N. voting on it"
I think that was the standard by which the US operated following WWII.

I would expect there were Republicans who said the same thing.

It would be great if someone could dig that up.

I was surprised to hear on the news last night what a big issue was being made of the UN Oil for Food program. I thought it sounded like "lets avoid talking about the mess we created and talk about how bad the UN is". :argh:

3. Step away from the TV, Turn off Al. Just relax.
Play your meditation CD. All will be okay.

:-)

Don't worry, Kerry is capable. Trust in him and the democrats. They have come through when we needed them before.

Deep breath....and let it out....

:)

ON EDIT: I actually will be doing some meditation today, as I mentioned doing before the first debate.

It is my hope that our meditations and prayers helped, and will help, JK, just as prayer studies have shown. (Not studies on JK, but on prayer, esp. nondirected prayer.)

6. I know what people like you do--
:hippie:

Well, I'll say a mantra or two for peace, harmony, and democracy today.
