Bill O'Reilly claims he has known John Kerry for 25 Years
He said this on Dave Letterman the other night. I was surprised. Can this be true?

1. GIVEN O'REICHLEY IS A NOTORIOUS LIAR, THIS IS LIKELY UNTRUE
Probably shook Kerry's hand in 1979, and that is the bassi for his "good friendship".

2. Guess O'Lielly got ARRESTED in Middlesex County, Massachusetts in 1979
cause John Kerry was Assistant district attorney there in 1979.

But, Bill wouldn't LIE about this, WOULD he?

3. Maybe I or someone should email this to Al Franken
I'm sure theres video of it somewhere. He clearly said it, however, if confronted he'll get all pissed off & say, "SHUT UP! I mis-spoke, Okay?!" Repubs when they lie & are caught always say they either mis-spoke or their comment was taken out of context.

4. O'Reilly exaggerates all his "connections". He was a local reporter
in Boston decades ago and although he probably asked Kerry a question or something, he states this as "knowing" him.

Sort of like he says about Howard Stern. "We went to school together". As if they're friends from their youth, when in fact at one of O'Reillys numerous private higher education stints, getting one of his degrees or working on them, he observed Howard when Howard was an undergraduate at Boston University and Howard was big in the journalism/broadcasting program.

O'Reilly remembered Howard he says, Stern says he had no idea that O'Reilly was ever there.

But listening to O'Reilly you think they were fratbrothers or something or even childhood friends.

5. I've noticed posts here about what the talking heads are saying these

days and it looks as though many of the goose-steppers are starting to side-step away from the current regime.

Guess they're afraid President Kerry's administration will be as punative as the fascist regime now occupying the White House.

edit: spelling

6. As in, "I met him once, 25 yrs ago" or "I've been seeing him on TV 25 yrs"
Sorry, Bill, but "know" means "know"

7. I really wish Dave would have called him on it!
Kept asking him for details. O'Reilly proabbly would have exploded!

8. On 60 Minutes O'Reilly said
he liked Kerry. He thought he was a "patriot."

Said he's and Independent and may vote for him.

Said he is for a lot of very moderate things - like anti-gun, pr-environment - I can't remember them all. But they were not Republican pro kinds of things.
