I have a feeling this Debate will be the end to all debates
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 05:21 PM by ck4829
I think this debate will affect the election.

I am pretty confident that Bush will slip up or hopefully say something that reflects his intelligence.

So somebody should record it just in case something like that happens.

Best of luck to Kerry, the first true President of the US since Bill Clinton.

1. I hope you are right ...
because Smirk has been practicing facial expressions all afternoon - goes to show you what has really been on the mind of the Repubs in preparation for this evening's debates . All the focus on how he should behave , he had no time to focus on the issues - meaning , its Kerry's debate to win again .

2. Kerry: to Gibson
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 05:20 PM by SoCalDem
"Mr. Gibson, could we please have Gov. Bush remove his suitcoat, and would you please examine his ears?"

4. I wish Kerry would start with
I would like to thank Mr. bush for showing up tonight, it must be very painful. Knowing how stupid you looked last week it has to be hard.

3. Per John at Americablog, here are two questions
he is sorry * won't have time to answer:

Apparently they didn't have time for "What the hell happened to my job?" or, "What planet are you on?"

5. The thing that would do him in
would be something he can't respond to that perceives as criticism from an audience member. If he gets busted like that it will piss him off, and he will be done. He can't take the criticism after all this "hard work" he's put into this presidency.
