But most scientist agree on the same thing, which is why I found it odd that Bush was touting this so hard. They're probably not great. If I remember what I read recently correctly, cars that run on fossil fuels are about 50% efficient. The hydrogen cars are only 53% efficient. But, the real problem is, how do you get the hydrogen? You still have to harvest it somehow, and that takes energy. You can't create energy out of nothing.

and put it on hydrogen cars instead his first year. I was shocked until I looked into it. There are several ways to make the hydrogen, and his bill made it use oil. So there will be no reduction in the use of oil in our country.
