1. It qualified Bush as a small business owner |
|
under the Republicans ridiculous definition.
It basically blows their whole argument that Kerry's tax plan would raise taxes on legitimate small business owners.

Bush claims that rolling back the taxes would effect 900K small business. Kerry said Bush uses a very broad (rediculous) definition of small business. To illustrate, he pointed out that Bush's small investment in the timber company that gave him a payment of $84 from it's profits qualifes Bush as a small business owner under his own definition.

5. some "small" businesses income |
|
are reported on personal income tax returns -- usually these people are self-employed and/or do contract work and their taxable income from their business is waaay less than $200,000 per year and wouldn't be effected by Kerry's tax plan
bush*'s "fuzzy analysis" includes these people -- bottom line is it's just another distortion and manipulation of numbers to scare people
