On every occassion when Mr.Bush is seen for an extended time
under a microscope with questions he has to answer on his record, he has given more and more reasons on why he should not have been President in the first place let alone be elected again. He is unable to state facts relating to his own personal finances ( "I own a timber company?") and loses his cool over the most trivial things.
He is unable to remember whether he has made mistakes or wrong decisions.Even his answer to that question sent him on a tangent about Iraq and WMD's and why he was right to go to war.It is almost as though War has been turned into a personal and political shield for his shortcomings that are apparent to everyone but him.

What I saw last night was a man angry that he even had to answer questions posed by anyone. The way he intimidated the Moderator, Charles Gibson, simply tells me that even after having ascended to the Presidency, he is unsure of himself. In every gesture, every sentence he uttered, his contempt for Kerry, the audience and the Moderator came through loud and clear.

He is becoming a parody of King George III, disconnected from the trials and tribulations of ordinary Americans, unable or unwilling to see the sufferings of soldiers, their families and, of course, the untold sufferings he has unleashed on innocent Iraqi civilians. His small ego is unable to cope with even the smallest threat, perceived or real, to his authority. That other people have to acknowledge his assertions as facts, a quality he seems to share with just about everyone in his administration, is the outstanding characteristic of this man.As a person he gives me the impression he would be unable to connect with anyone unless they want to be totally subservient to him.
He revels in his power to inflict pain on others.Because he so clearly lacks the qualities needed to be a leader, he has his many paid sycophants invent these qualities for him and wrap him in the garbs of a Winston Churchill or other equally well regarded leaders.

Because every initiative he has undertaken in his mercifully short tenure has come acropper, he now defeneds them even when the facts belie him.He is afraid of open ridicule that could erupt any moment. He covers up this fear with bravado that is apparent.

It is a wonder he has been able to pull the wool over so many eyes for so long.George, your time is up.Give it up and go away.We promise we won't miss you.
