So, why isn't Canada suing the US drug companies? |
|
I mean, it's obvious. Bush says that the safety of all the medicines we would re-import are in question, so that means that the US drug companies are supplying dangerous drugs to Canada, right?

Canadian pharmacies have the same QC as US ones.
There could be a concern with buying drugs over the internet from sources claiming to be Canadian pharmacies that may be selling counterfiet meds from "third worlds."
But WHY THE F*CK ARE WE REIMPORTING??? Let's freakin' regulate the pharma prices HERE and quit screwing around with sending drugs to Canada just to have them shipped back here. (Regulation is the main reason Canadian prices are lower -- not bulk purchasing, not currency mismatch.) US drugstores are losing money to Canadian retailers, and regulating the pharma prices would help US stores, plus eliminate the need for the phony discount cards.
Oh, wait. I just answered my own question. It would make sense and reduce costs, so therefore, big pharma won't stand for it.
