The nearly six decades of our country's interference in other people's
affairs through covert operations against their leaders, fixing elections, deposing legally elected leaders, installing puppets who do our bidding, corrupting entire countries with our money and power is now blowing back ( using Chalmers Johnson's term). It would be important to remember that the Saudi Royal Family, the Kuwaiti Al-Sabahs,The Shah of Iran,Saddam Hussein,Zia,Musharraf, even the Taliban were clients of our CIA at one time or another. It is very appropriate that the 2000 elections were stolen by a Bush whose father had a hand in stealing elections as CIA director in other countries. It should also not surprise us if we see political assassinations targeted against politicians who go against the prevailing powers. This is exactly what Sen.Frank Church warned us against when he headed the Commission to investigate the CIA and called it a "rogue elephant".

Expect more and more events that you cannot explain if * gets elected or selected as the case may be.

2. You are talking about policies that transcend politics

It is neither realistic nor fair to your candidate to expect that an election will reverse bedrock principles of US foreign policy.

4. I agree with you. This is why I want Kerry to win even though I know
he has very little wiggle room in overcoming the basic principles of our foreign policy, which are essentially to maintain our supremacy through overt and covert actions of one sort or another.

5. Thomas Barnett's
war plans explain a lot. The U.S. military realizes it needs a new role and has decided to hire out as the "globocop" of the transnational corporations. The trick is to continue to convince the dumb Southern boys that they are enlisting on behalf of Mom, apple pie and Chevrolet.

Actually, they are still fighting for Chevrolet since GM is a transnational corporation. But most of their actions are not to the benefit of the formerly sovereign country known as the U.S.A., which is gradually being supplanted by the "globalist" beast which owes allegiance to no country or flag, only the bottom line.

6. Halliburton may well be the prototype of the Transnational Corporation
that you refer to.It can build bases around the globe, maintain them, conduct police actions, supply soldiers and logistics for wars, all with mercenary soldiers who will simply be tagged as Halliburton employees and be drawn from many countries where Halliburton has a free hand to operate.Countries like India ,though officially not participating in the Iraq war ,can do so by providing manpower for a variety of tasks and not be overtly tagged as part of the Coalition which would cause domestic political problems.

8. The CIA has always been a pack of murderous thugs.
Should have been disbanded long ago and no few sent to prison. Their only saving grace has been their ineptitude.
