Why all the fuss over that stupid anti-Kerry movie from the neo-cons? |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 04:08 PM by noahmijo
Anyone who will bother to believe the bullshit lies in this movie are people who are already members of the Bush Cult.
To these people facts mean nothing, they don't care about you about me, about anybody but themselves and by golly that there Bush is gonna stop the queers from a gettin married and he's a gonna stop the killin of babies (even though he has no problem sending many a mother's babies off to war).
Do you really think some undecided voter who has finalized their decision on Kerry is going to be swayed by this bullshit? think of it this way. Kerry supporters will not be swayed by this video cause they know the truth. Undecideds who are "weakly" supporting Kerry more than likely have already been made aware of the smearboat liars, but either don't believe them because they know the facts, or they don't care because they understand the dangers of voting for The Giggling Murderer, and no stupid video that is simply a glorifed version of a smearboats for Bush ad is gonna change their minds.

1. Unfortunately, I think there ARE people who may have decided not to vote |
|
who could be influenced by lies to feel so strongly about something that they would then go to the polls two days later. Picture someone who hasn't followed anything and couldn't give a damn, finally seeing F911 two days before the elections. At least in that case, they would be seeing the truth. The truth about the funding and support of this movie and the lies contained in it NEEDS to come out and the movie needs to be prevented. What a joke this country has become if it is allowed to be aired, when truthful ADS from Moveon are banned from the SuperBowl.

Is the entire right wing propaganda machine. We can use this to bring it all down if we do it right.

3. Are you serious? The campaign was hurt by the Swift Boat Liars.. |
|
We still have not recovered all of the voters we lost to that smear campaign. The last thing we need is another smear campaign on the eve of the election.

4. Yes, it's already been hurt by the Swifties |
|
The damage in that area has been done. If people didn't fall for the Swifties bullshit then, why will they fall for it now? My big beef is the way the stations are being told that they MUST air it and they MUST pre-empt regular programming. Seems to me that FCC regulations would require that Kerry get equal FREE air time. If he gets it, let them spew. Kerry can spend his time covering the issues.

It hurt Kerry's campaign in the past, I think we shouldn't allow that happen again. Well, that's my opinion.
As famous quote: "Youth ages, immaturity is outgrown, ignorance can be educated, and drunkenness sobered, but STUPID lasts forever" by Aristophane.
People would believe everything what TV news said, it is better off for us to stop it before it happen. Freepers depend on stupidity to do the job.

who do not see it on Sinclair.
I think the answer is to bully the other networks into letting Kerry read his entire 1971 speech before the Senate. It is so damn powerful and so damn relevant to today's mess. It would give him 60 percent approval ratings. And more would see that than would see the swift's shit.
I don't think we would have much trouble getting the broadcast networks, CNN,& MSNBC to carry it. Especially after Bush snookered CNN and MSNBC into giving him a free 50 minute ad.
