I'll have to say, though, if you've ever worked much with jr. high aged-girls, this is pretty much what a lot (not ALL) of them are like.

That's not to say that teenaged boys aren't a pain in their own way--just that it's true that AWOL's flaws, despite his "I'm so Macho" demeanor, are often very "effeminate." Use of backdoor rumors, whining about "he's being mean to me" etc.
