Ashamed to admit, I just today finally saw F-9/11. A few brief comments:
As I live way out in the sticks, I just couldn't coordinate a way to view it in a theater, nearest one 50 miles away & it didn't work. So I figured I'd get the DVD but the only place within the aforementioned 50 miles that should have had it on ..what was it, Tuesday?...didn't. But they finally got some in today (a Walmart which is the only general/grocery store in this half of my county)...and I've just finished watching it.

Well, I don't think I saw anything I didn't already know, and I was just a tiny bit disappointed that it wasn't quite the blockbuster that I had
expected, but overall, it's damn sure a piece that everyone of voting age in the USA ought to see. (the added footage of Condisleaze is well worthwhile) I wonder how really evil it would be if I burned a few copies and sent them off to some of my RW friends.....

1. Evil? I don't think that would be evil at all. They're the ones
that are evil and they should see their evil leader in inaction on 9/11. hell, yeah, send it to them.

4. My walmart has it for $17.87
Besides, Moore shouldn't profit off of the death of others (unless he said all the profits were going to some charity or whatever)

9. According to the contract Miramax signed to buy the film from Disney,
60% of the profits must go to charity.

I am sure MM will not mind. I think he said something to that effect about the bootlegs downloaded from Kazaa.

2. I glad you finally got to see F9/11...I
had just the opposite reaction when I saw it the day it came out back at the end of June..

I was intensely riveted to the screen and felt drained at the end..I got it on DVD today to see again, but I don't think I want to watch it alone..so will wait for company..it's too depressing.

5. I was mad at everybody when I left the theater--
furious at the Republicans and mad as hell at the Democrats. It brought up all those feelings of anger about Gore and the House/Senate Vote thing re the presidential "selection", and then the resolution to go to war and finally, the whole Patriot Act thing. I swear there for about 5 minutes I said, "Screw up all, I'm voting for Nader." Luckily, I regained my senses, quickly!!!

My Brother and Sister in Law with a couple of young boys, didn't have a chance to see it in theater. They just rented it last night. I am anxious to hear their take...

10. I'm 99% sure MM is promoting copying.
It makes sense. There may be something on his website.

11. It was more powerful in the theater.
Saw it both ways. Couldn't get the sound of the the plane hitting the building out of my head. In the theater it sounded like it was coming from behind. Glad you got to see it.

for the first time. Having some neighbors here to join us. I can't wait to see it and, as advised, will have lots of Kleenex on hand.

14. will a CD burner on a laptop make copies?
Please let me know as I am getting a copy soon and I really need to send a copy to a "friend" that is quickly becoming a right winger (I think) located in Wyoming. He thinks that Cheney is more "qualified" to be VP than Edwards! :wtf:

Gotta save this guy if possible.

The laptop has a burner on it - will it copy Fahrenheit 911 or do you know?

Thanks.

15. No, you need a DVD burner.... I had the same question as you...
My son (who is a programmer) said it wouldn't work, that I needed to get a DVD burner for about $100. I was disappointed because I planned to make beaucoup copies and pass them out because I had read that Michael Moore WANTED us to copy it and pass it around everywhere we could.
