Did anyone see CNN's "John Kerry: Born To Run"? |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 09:03 PM by Kanary
I caught the very last of it...... seemed OK.
Curious if anyone saw the whole thing, and what the thought was.
It's on again at 11pm (Eastern) and 6am

1. It is a hatchet job, very bad |
|
They showed it several weeks ago
It includes clips of the swift boat liars and doyle slamming kerry
CNN is getting desperate because they know they are losing their grip

2. It was a hatchet job in a lot of ways and the MSNBC |

bio is much more fair and better all around. Btw, it is Born to Run, not win.
If you watch the entire CNN show, you'll see the snarky parts. The MSNVC one may repeat again this weekend.

Will correct.
BTW, it's "MSNBC", not "MSNVC".
:)
Unfortunately, I don't get MSNBC. :(

fighters of North Vietnam. (Not really, but I hate to admit to a typo, so just call me Hanoi Jane)
Now if we could only get someone to air "Going Upriver" before November. That would be a nice antidote to all the Swiftboat crapola.

7. All I asked for was whether the program was worth watching or not. |
|
I *didn't* ask for one more slur against women.
One more time....... it's really possible to comment negatively on journalists, without using gender-specific terms that demean women.
And that is given as a clue........ not an invitation for *more* slurs.

but I did gain respect for him because he followed his convictions. It was probably a negative for most people, was a positive for me. Figure that.
