I had a birthday party tonight for my boss, I need answers for monday. |
|
I work in Kansas which is heavily repukes. Tonight we all went out to a bar to celebrate my bosses B-day. He is (or I thought he was) A major shrub fan.
The last two weeks I have taken off my headphones too do whatever and he has had AAR going on his computer. When he sees me he shuts the puter volume down and raises his RUSH radio.
I think he is coming around but won't let it be known. Far cry from my postes a few months ago. I quit then and had to basically beg for my job back.
I don't know he will change from bush but I think I have him thinking!!!

3. Maybe you don't need answers. Maybe you just need questions. |
|
The right questions can sometimes do more to convince.

5. Remind him that bills voted on in Congress are rarely single-issue bills, |
|
so anyone's opponents can say "He voted for X!" or "She voted against Y" when the vote was actually cast for or against Z. I've seen info on Kerry's votes debunking what the GOP says. Try his web site for starters.
As for Edwards, shouldn't people who are damaged by incompetent or careless doctors be represented by good lawyers when they sue? People whine about lawyers but when they need one, they want the best, and usually don't care much about ethics, either! We always hear about the weirdest legal cases, and we rarely hear them told straight. Judges can throw out frivolous cases as it is but the right wing wants to take away the right to sue so the rich and corporations can keep their money.
