Electoral Vote Predictor: Kerry 280 Douchebag 248
http://electoral-vote.com/

Even though I was cussing the electoral vote predictor a couple of weeks ago, the science seems to be the most accurate of all the ways of predicting the outcome.

We've got the momentum! Now it's time to work as hard as hard as you can, talk to as many people as possible, wear every Kerry-Edwards sticker, shirt, etc., and just imagine the celebration!

1. Refreshing
It is going to come down to the wire for sure unless Shrub just goes ballistic at the next debate which could happen.

13. If Gore won MN in 2000,
why would Kerry not win it this year?
http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/info-battleground04.html

I have a good friend there, he is in the news businesss, and is confident in a Kerry win.

What other factors are there that could cause that state to go red?

7. I truly believe we're winning by a bigger margin than this, because

I live in the most congested Repugnant community in America. Yes, it does suck on a regular basis, but it's home for now, and I guess the universe put me here to piss them off.

But having lived here my whole life, I've never seen the level of support for a Democratic candidate we have here now. Plus, the support for * is lukewarm. I know of many, many Repukes who are voting for Kerry and even "working" for us. We call them Reblicrats, because they're afraid to change parties, but they vote with us when the curtain is closed. Hopefully, after we win this, several of them will "come out".

Sure the robots have their * stickers on the Mercedes, Hummers, and SUV's, not to mention all other luxury automobiles, but there are lots of Kerry-Edwards signs and stickers all over the community, and we opened the first ever office for a Democratic candidate only blocks from the "real" billionaires for Bush.

My prediction: Kerry wins Florida by at least 10% and probably 12.

8. Today (Oct 10) it's Kerry 270, Bushochio 248

You're showing yesterday's EV-poll status. (See my sig.) Minnesota with 10 EV's went 'tossup' according to Rasmussen.

9. I like to make my own totals.

I use the linked site. Every state where Bush doesn't have at least 48% I give to Kerry. In today's case, it pushes NH, Minnesota, Arkansas, and New Mexico into Kerry's column. This gives him an additional 25ev.

11. So do I. I show Kerry 223; Smirk 223, Tossup 92
Edited on Sun Oct-10-04 09:25 AM by TahitiNut
I regard any state with a difference within the MoE as a 'TossUp'. Those states are: Maine, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Colorado, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Missouri.

Only New Mexico and Missouri lean Smirk.
