She's still on the floor. Been there all day today and all day yesterday trying to get the tax bill to include the Natl Guard and Reserve. She just yielded the floor to Se. Sessions (Repug), hoping he'll support her amendment. Sen. Ladrieu keeps holding up this 1,000 page report and now says it's heavy. I guess so, it's so big it's probably equivalent to lifting weights. Sen/ Sessions has not yet agreed.

who continue to pay reservists and national guardsmen called to active duty. Of course the gop, which "supports our troops", OPPOSES THE ADDITION TO THE BILL. Gotta love those fucking republicans and how they "support" our troops.

I had a pro-choice caller from Pennsylvania call me to say that Mary was going against her Catholic faith to support abortion. My response was that I'm glad my congresswoman is wise to separate her faith from her government position, that one of my biggest priorities was the separation of church & state.

There's someone who really supports the troops. Nat'l Guard families are suffering b/c of lost income and benefits due to deployments. Also, I want to give kudos to companies like the one I work for, who are already supplementing the incomes of deployed Nat'l Guard troops. If her provision goes through, more companies will have incentive to do that.

6. What is so amazing is that the bill is a big corporate giveaway

from what I heard. And they cannot find tax credits for employers of guard & reserve.

We have this huge deficit, due to giveaways to wealthy & corporations.

Try to find some money for the little guys...oh, no, they have to be fiscally responsible.
