My letter to the Chicago Tribune
For some time now, the Trib has always published one or two more pro-Bush letters than pro-Kerry letters, if they publish any at all. This is shocking, considering how slanted Democratic Chicago is. So I wrote this letter to protest the bias evident in the Tribune.

"This is not my first letter on the subject, but hopefully it will be the last. The bias in your "Voice of the People" section on Sunday, Oct 10th was flat-out disgusting. You had
two letters supporting President Bush and not a single balancing letter supporting Senator Kerry. I find it amusing that in a city where over 80% of the people will vote for Senator Kerry (based on previous elections), the Tribune couldn't find a single letter supporting him. There are a few explanations for this. 1. No one sent you a pro-Kerry letter. While I don't know the numbers, the odds of no one sending you a pro-Kerry letter are slim at best. 2. The Tribune received pro-Kerry letters, but chose not to publish them. This explanation is far more likely but far worse, as it shows gross negligence on your part. This needs to stop. No wonder there are so few Republicans in Chicago. They all work for your editorial page."

3. Good Job!
I was in Chicago recently, and the visible support for Kerry was overwhelming. Window signs, buttons, bumper stickers, people out on the streets getting support for Kerry/Edwards surrounded by tons of interested citizens.

When will the media ever be held accountable for what they have done to drive our country into the control of fascists?
