October Surprise

Everybody's falling all over themselves trying to figure what and when the Repubs big October surprise will be, but I'm betting the surprise will be on them in the form of some very bad news.
It seems there are 3 real possibilities out there:

1) Fitzgerald indicts folks as high up as Chaney (w/GWB as an un-indicted co-conspirator ?)in the Plame affair.

2) Large number of troops killed at once---a la Beruit

3) The food for oil scandal will snare W and or others close to him.

I sure hope it's not # 2

Some people here think the CIA is more Repub leaning and would give Bush a pass, but I don't think so. They're a powerful bunch and able to make things happen like most of us wouldn't imagine.

Washington Post, New Yorker Magazine, (Seymour Hersh) - Congress - this is AMAZING that the story of American soldiers torturing Iraqi children in front of their mothers is not being broken before this election!! This is so fucking outrageous!!
