To the congregation:
Try to avoid demonizing the opponent, whoever you are supporting, and pray that whoever wins remembers that he needs to lead all of us, not just his own party.
Based on other things he's said, I think he's one of us (i.e., a truly moral man who supports Kerry), but I can't be sure and I'm afraid to bring up the subject in church.

but I'd like to think that people can disagree, and still be moral. Perhaps he's ignorant, perhaps he believes that the "good" Bush has done outweighs the bad (far-fetched, yes, but if he's all about the abortion issue, then it's possible), maybe he believes Bush is a better Christian the Kerry - the man may still be a good person and a good minister of God.
