"I wasn't happy about it." 5 more words that expose the traitor! |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-11-04 02:25 PM by ElementaryPenguin
In the second debate, Bush stated that when we invaded Iraq and found they had no weapons of mass destruction, that "he wasn't happy about it." WTF? HE WASN'T HAPPY ABOUT IT??? Would he have been happier if Saddam had had them and used them on our invading troops? Since when are we "happy" when one of our "enemies" has attained the capability of causing us catastrophic harm?
If the Kerry camp hasn't yet pointed this out - I certainly wish they would - perhaps even with an ad. As an astute LA Times subscriber noted this weekend, does this innocent quote not PROVE to the world that Bush and his extremist neo-con crowd are far more concerned with proving their warped global agenda correct than they are with the actual safety and welfare of the American people - or the world at large?!

Better that our troops were gassed then him being wrong. That;s why he wasn't happy.

Bush supporters would point out that what Furious George really meant was that he was unhappy about those nasty intelligence people who misled him.

* would NEVER have sent in troops if he really believed they would have been slaughtered en masse by Saddam's WMD.
they would NEVER have talked about 'cakewalks' if they were the slightest risk of losing HUNDREDS of US soldiers in a single WMD attack.
they knew, without question, that there was nothing there.

7. I agree - of course they knew! |
|
But I don't believe at that Bushler would have given a damn had a large number of US soldiers been annihilated - an neither would our Nazi Networks - who would spun it as no big deal.

8. Has ONE talking head pointed out this major gaffe???? |
|
If one has, I didn't hear about it. Now if Kerry had said it.......
As to WMD, I suspected before the invasion that there were none, but by day two of the invasion I was certain. If Saddam had 'em, he would have used 'em. The WMD report is rather anticlimatic.

This jerkoff has so many people surrounding him that are primarily interested in if he's 'happy' about stuff. Not much thought given to the good of the country, no dissent tolerated.

This administration DEPENDED on the inspections to assure that Iraq had NO DEFENSES. They absolutely knew there were no such weapons. They used the weapons inspection regime and the sanctions to weaken Iraq for the Corporatist Occupation, Phase 2.
