Open these two sites: Flint, MI: http://www.wsmh66.com/flint_mi/OK City: http://www.kokh25.com/oklahoma_ok/Look at the pictures across the tops of these pages. Are two of these reporters on the same channel 1000 miles apart?

A Fox station in Des Moines, KDSM, and the CBS station in Cedar Rapids, KGAN, share a news team. I guess Sinclair does this to save money so they can give more to the Repugs. Probably the same thing is going on with these two stations. It is weird.

9. You've just stumbled across a rift between the great internets |

of the universe. This obviously proves there are two of you surfing one site, interpreting it differently, and one of you has WMDs.

a. Their web people may have made a mistake b. The newspeople could have been transfered and one of the websites has not been updated.

13. Clear Channel does this a lot in radio so |
|
whatever company (Sinclair?) owns these two stations could do this via a satellite hookup. They just get their copy and read it and the TV viewers think they're in the city. Cheap bastards!
Lest we not forget, though, the TV audience is not the pick of the litter.

I don't know about Sinclair specifically but I've heard that TV is starting to do some of the things Clear Channel does on radio. The talking head news readers could be in one place and the local stand up reporters in the other.
Not surprising they're doing something like this since they are Chimp supporters. Keep the "consumers" dazed with propaganda but do it as cheaply as possible. They'd out source these jobs to India if they could.

14. a little update for you... |
|
there are a lot of stations that are too small to have there own news teams...think about the fox stations several years ago that had only Simpsons reruns...
well these stations can grab another station and actually contract their news team to provide a feed for the small channel....
I believe that in Colorado Springs the Fox news team there is actually employeed by another station and the news is filmed at the other station...then they just record it or provide a direct feed to Fox and....BINGO! they have anews team....

are part of Sinclair's NewsCentral team (newscentral.tv), which originates, I believe, out of NeoCon Central in Maryland. NewsCentral provides 1/2 of the "local newshour" on Sinclair stations, including editorial content.
