Lies, damn lies, and polls |
|
I know some of us here had some heartburn with the results of the CNN poll after Friday's debate -- for those not following this one, the CNN poll was dramatically in favor of Kerry after the poll and into the following morning, something like 70-30. Then, mid-afternoon, it was at 52-48 shrub. I've suggested we watch the CNN poll after the coming debate. In the whole scheme of things, it is sort of meaningless, but perhaps it's worth a chuckle to see how far the "liberal" media will go to pander to the republican party.
In any case, as a prelude to that poll, take a look at the one up now. Are we safer now? Results, with something like 14,000 votes, is 68% voting that the threat is greater now, after our foray into Iraq. It'll be interesting to see how this one changes over the next 18 hours or so.
