I just took another Zogby poll. One of the questions was:

Interesting. I can tell you for sure Cheney DIDN'T win that one!!!

1. Hard to answer that

I like Kerry because I think he has a very interesting life story that has made him a good person. But I think Edwards would be the guy I would rather "have a beer with".

I have seen a very nice side of Kerry in the last few weeks, but I ended voting for Edwards.

4. Brains & ethics trump charisma every time for me

I don't want to have a beer with my candidates for public office -- many cups of coffee is fine, because what I want to know about them is not going to be revealed from many cups of liquor. I look at the campaign as a job interview, not a date.

Besides, isn't it more than a little creepy to have that "beer" question tossed around about Bush the Dry Drunk?

That is such a BS question. They are just wanting to re-hash the whole "Kerry is aloof" meme and Chimpy is "every man's man".

6. I didn't take part in the poll....BUT

I would vote for Kerry. I really think he's a great fatherly figure. I love my Dad. But to have a Dad that snowboards...windsurfs...served in Vietnam (like my Pops)...he just seems cool as hell.

And unlike Bush...you could actually sit down and have a beer with him.
