But I don't think the anti-Kerry one will have the effect the Bush team is hoping for. It's old news, and most people have heard these stories ad nauseum, anyway. Some haven't, but most have.

Still, it should be clarified that this is allowed or disallowed. If allowed, then we get to do it, too. I hope the Dem leaders are pursuing this - getting our own movie to run.

3. IMPORTANT for DUers in Sinclair markets to write to ALL their TV stations

• Write a LETTER, not an e-mail -- it's 10 minutes well-spent!
• Put your feelings in your own words, but make it clear that Sinclair's proposed acts are a violation of the public trust, and you intend to hold them accountable.
• Make a few points, sequentially and clearly.
• When writing to Sinclair, tell them that your letter is to go in their "public file."
