4. Here's a link from Michael Moore's website - I like Books for
Soldiers because the e-mails give specifics of what the soldiers want/need (not just books) I hope this helps.

is a good thing to contribute to.

they provide housing for families whose relatives were seriously wounded and are hospitalized. They were great for a friend of mine, when her 19 yo son was IED'd in Falluja.

I have a friend serving as a nurse in Iraq. She said that baby wipes are gold, but they will use ANYTHING & EVERYTHING you send.
