Coming to Terms With Sinclair

Ok ........The Sinclair Corp want to run a smear film on Senator Kerry so Ive been thinking of a fair compromise....

Sinclair has offered Kerry himself 90 minutes to rebut the film and we all know that is not going to happen So.....Why dont we offer them THIS...

After they air their garbage film they have to without comment air MOVEON.orgs video/DVD UNCOVERED....The Truth behind the Iraq war.... which then will be followed by the retun of their regularly scheduled programming with no comments on either features.....

Both of these Films have validity in someones eyes.........WHY NOT.

downfall.

The Kerry campaign should not pay Sinclair one red cent to put anything on their stations.

The repukes are trying to energize their base, but when they do this shit more and more people leave that party and start looking at the democrats through new eyes.

I know. It happened to me when the repukes brought out DOMA in an election year. They sure rallied their base, but they lost people like me and many more.

3. STOPPING SINCLAIR IS A CAKE WALK ~ Starting This Minute
We can stop the Sinclair film on Kerry, quickly, simply,
effectively and with almost zero cost with a PHONE IN to
all the Sinclair stations that utterly ties up their business
lines all day long, everyday, from now until the proposed
airing of the film!

It's THIS easy.

Most states only have 2-3 Sinclair stations. Only a few
(AL, NY, NC, OH) have as many as 5-6 stations, the point
being that there aren't that many Sinclair stations (about
55 total in the whole country) that need to be dealt with.

Now the formula:

Take your home State, say for example....................NY
Daily hours the Sinclair stations are likely open............8
Number of letters in alphabet..................................26
26 divided by 8 hours they are open..........................3 (approx)

Now the fun....!

If your name ends with a,b or c, call all 6 radio stations
between 8am and 9am and ask to launch a complaint about
the proposed airing of the Kerry film. Don't accept a quick
explanation and a hang up. Detain the operator who answers
as long as you possibly can.

If you are given another number to call, ask why you can't
do it at this number. Ask for a supervisor. If you are having
trouble keeping the operator online, ask any question, i.e.:
"When are the Christmas specials going to begin this year?"
"Can you put me through to programming please." "What
football games will you be airing this week?" "Is there any
truth to the rumor that you're no longer going to air my favorite
show, such-and-such?" Stay online with the operator as
long as you possibly can.

Similarly, if your name ends with d, e or f, you call all 6 radio
stations between 9am and 10am And remember, don't
accept a quick answer and a hangup. Detain the operator
for as long as you possibly can. Ask anything, even if it's
stupid.

And so it continues:

Last names ending with:

g, h and i...................................call between 10am ~ 11am
j, k and l....................................call between 11am ~ 12pm
m, n, o........................................call between 12pm ~ 1pm
p, q, r............................................call between 1pm ~ 2pm
s, t, u............................................call between 2pm ~ 3pm
v, w, x,..........................................call between 3pm ~ 4pm
EVERYONE..................................call between 4pm ~ 5pm

This will keep all lines tied up during business hours.

Now, if you have time to call at ANY hour, do it. If you're a
night owl that stays up until 3am in the morning, make even more
calls and leave voice mail for the station manager. Call as often
as you can but especially concentrate on calling DURING YOUR
APPOINTED HOUR.

If you're told, "We already have your complaint on record,
say firmly, "Yes, I'm calling back to see if anyone has processed
my complaint, and they haven't, why not, because I haven't heard
from anyone. When can I expect to hear from someone?",
remembering to detain the operator as long as you possibly
can so that the minute she hangs up with you, another complaint
call is incoming no matter which call on hold she chooses.

You'll know you're doing a good job if the lines are habitually busy.
DON'T STOP CALLING, EVEN IF THEY ARE.

One glitch is this...some letters of the alphabet are not as well
represented as others, for example, there aren't a whole bunch
of people whose last name ends with v, w and x, so we need the
"rested people" and retirees and other people who have time
(or like everyone who doesn't have a job, which is only 2 million of
us) to do a little double-duty!

More names end with "m" or "s" than any other, so if that includes
you, be a Double-Duty Democrat! and call twice that of your
commitment, especially during the peak hours (10am ~ 3pm).

Are you already calling? If you aren't, call while you read the
rest of this, even if it's not your hour.

Is your state NOT represented by a Sinclair station? Call whichever
is the state closest to you that does have a Sinclair station (can't
cost more than 50 cents).

Now, commit to doing this every day between now and the
proposed airing of the film, which is we've only been told is "days
before the election."

OF COURSE THEY'RE NOT GOING TO TELL US EXACTLY WHEN.
That's why we have to begin now and not let up, no matter what.

Tying up Sinclair's business lines for the duration of October is like
sending them with the message:

"If you're going to help put a man back in office who has taken our
jobs from us, we'll see how many jobs we can take from you."

We have done bigger and better things than this already. We can do
this too. It is NOT hard. You probably aren't more than 5 feet from
a telephone this minute. USE IT (there's a list below with every single
Sinclair station's telephone number, including the ones in your state!).

We also need someone with a website and a little experience to volunteer
to make us a SHUTDOWN SINCLAIR PHONE-IN HALL OF FAME list
where everyone who participates can go list their name! Wow, can you
imagine what a huge, happy list and what a great inspiration we can
give Kerry and Edwards by example!!!

And remember....we can do this next election too ... and the one after that,
and so on.

We can put up a force that not even the lobbyists can compare with.

The Internet has given ALL of us a voice and the means to have it heard
succinctly, instantly and with resounding, powerful effectiveness.

USE IT!

We only need to NOT get tired and NOT give up. That's all!

Goooooooooo guys and gals!!!!!!!!!!!! START DOING IT RIGHT NOW.

Literally seconds from the time this is posted, we can be making
our voice heard at every single Sinclair station across this country...
all day....every hour....non-stop!

Scroll back up, find the last letter of your name, and call at the
appointed hour!

Nuf said! Now, here are the Sinclair stations:

7. STOPPING SINCLAIR IS SIMPLE ~ Here's How
e

Message:
We can stop the Sinclair film on Kerry, quickly, simply,
effectively and with almost zero cost with a PHONE IN to
all the Sinclair stations that utterly ties up their business
lines all day long, everyday, from now until the proposed
airing of the film!

It's THIS easy.

Most states only have 2-3 Sinclair stations. Only a few
(AL, NY, NC, OH) have as many as 5-6 stations, the point
being that there aren't that many Sinclair stations (about
62 total in the whole country) that need to be dealt with.

Now the formula:

Take your home State, say for example....................NY
Total number of NY Sinclair stations..........................6
Daily hours these Sinclair stations are likely open.........8

Similarly, if your name ends with d, e or f, you call all 6 radio
stations between 9am and 10am. And remember, don't
accept a quick answer and a hangup. Detain the operator
for as long as you possibly can. Ask anything, even if it's
stupid.

And so it continues:

Last names ending with:

g, h and i...................................call between 10am ~ 11am
j, k and l....................................call between 11am ~ 12pm
m, n, o........................................call between 12pm ~ 1pm
p, q, r............................................call between 1pm ~ 2pm
s, t, u............................................call between 2pm ~ 3pm
v, w, x,..........................................call between 3pm ~ 4pm
EVERYONE..................................call between 4pm ~ 5pm

This will keep all lines tied up during business hours.

Now, if you have time to call at ANY hour, do it. If you're a
night owl that stays up until 3am in the morning, make even more
calls and leave voice mail for the station manager. Call as often
as you can but especially concentrate on calling DURING YOUR
APPOINTED HOUR.

If you're told, "We already have your complaint on record,
say firmly, "Yes, I'm calling back to see if anyone has processed
my complaint, and if not, why not, because I haven't heard
from anyone all day.

One glitch is this...some letters of the alphabet are not as well
represented as others, for example, there aren't a whole bunch
of people whose last name ends with v, w and x, so we need the
"rested people" and retirees and other people who have time
(like the 2 million of us out of work) to do a little double-duty!

OF COURSE THEY'RE NOT GOING TO TELL US EXACTLY WHEN.
That's why we have to begin now and not let up, no matter what.

Tying up Sinclair's business lines for the duration of October is like
sending them the message that if they're going to help put a man back
in office who has taken hundreds of thousands of jobs from us,
perhaps we can impress upon Sinclair our worry, distress and utter
frustration over our worsening economic condition by taking October
revenue away from them.

We've done bigger and harder things than this before. We can do
this too. It is NOT impossible. In fact, it's easy. You probably
aren't more than 5 feet from a telephone this minute. USE IT
(there's a list below with every single Sinclair station's

We also need someone with a website and a little experience to volunteer
to make us a SHUTDOWN SINCLAIR PHONE-IN HALL OF FAME list
where everyone who participates can go list their name! Wow, can you
imagine what a huge, happy list and what a great inspiration we can
give Kerry and Edwards by example!!!

And remember....we can do this next election too ... and the one after that,
