Was my friend's dog wounded over a Kerry sign?
My buddy came how today to find her dog bleeding and limping. She took Girldog to the vet (Boydog's been on an internship with her boyfriend), where she was told that Girldog had been shot with a pellet gun. Once they were all patched up and back home she was out in the yard pokin' around and noticed pellet gun holes in her Kerry sign.
Hmmm, pellet gun holes in the dog AND in the sign.....

I told her that... and knowing her..
she just might make even a bigger scene...
I called her a few minutes ago and told her that there was a story about partisan violence/vandalism on CNN and that she should call them too.

5. Also contact the local Humane Society or No Kill Shelter

They might be able to help get the word out - and to prosecute.

And if any friendly local liberal talk hosts - call them - she can remain anonomyous.

2. Bushevik FUCKERS! The only question left is
was it intentional or an accident.

Knowing Busheviks, my money is on intentional.

Yes, call the police. Just shooting up a sign is nothing they'll look into, but shooting your dog?

bring the vet report and your sign to the Police Station.

6. Actually shooting up a sign with a pellet gun is assault as well. If it
can injure a dog it could have injured a person as well. Shooting unto someone's property with a pellet gun is assault and it is a crime.

8. CALL THE MEDIA AND THE POLICE!!
That is my BIGGEST fear. I just put my K/E sign out a few days ago.

You MUST call the local media and explain the pellets in the sign - and your dog. Also alert the local Dem HQs so they can keep a report of it, and the local and state police. I hear that the local police where I live can't do anything but the state police can.

Please update us, ok? Hope that little pupper is alright :) Taking a bullet for John Kerry...:)

9. That's sick.
My signs are in my bedroom window (4th floor). Luckily here in West Hollywood, I don't think anything like that would happen.

But it concerns me because the cats like to sleep in the sun behind on the signs.

10. Poor little dog
Ive been hit with many many pellets and BB's, not to mention buckshot from shotguns (Dove hunting.....these things just happen) and its not all that pleasent. If only the world worked like my mind. Then you could have a nice little automated sentry protecting your dog with a belt fed machine gun. That would stop people from shooting at your crib.

11. She needs to file a police report
To not do so would be irresponsible. In addition, I would call local media and email the story to the K/E campaign.

17. Me, too!
I'd pry their pellet gun from their cold, dead hands and then shove it up their ass as their house burned in the background.

15. The defining quality of the right in this country..
...is cowardice. Abject, stupefying cowardice. Like the slobs who won't leave a particular alone until her boyfriend or husband comes around, right-wingers don't have the guts even to debate people face-to-face. They break your window, they'll deface your car and even get their friends to beat you up, but they fear any real confrontation with liberals, whether it be rhetorical or physical. I despise the people who shot your dog and hope the "law and order" society they preach about finds out who they are and tosses them in the slammer.

18. Contact the Media...
This is ugly. What if Children had been playing in the yard. These dumb asses will do this again. Someone could get hurt unless the Police and Media take action.

19. Definitely, you must contact the local media.
Because the repukes need to be shown for what they are.

They are staging breakins at their offices and then blaming the AFL-CIO, the truth about their true nature needs to come out.

23. Why I'm afraid to put out a Kerry sign
I have a dog door. All it would take would be one mixed-up, impressionable teenager to open one of the gates to the backyard while I was at work.

24. I don't blame you and I won't judge you.
I won't risk the safety of my animals, they are like my children, and it will NOT take the loss of their life to win this election.

Once it is said and done, one would just be left with regret.

My neighbors are scary as hell already, they are probably KKK or something like that.
