999th Post: Best wishes Kerry / Edwards and campaigners: Get out the vote!

I've been holding off posting my 999th post for too long, hoping to write a reasoned essay. However there is so much to write about and the result has been that I haven't written anything for days, whether substantial or not.

So I am breaking my silence now so that I can break through the 1000th post barrier soon and get back to posting regularly and freely!

Best wishes to John Kerry, John Edwards, and all the good people working so hard for their election. Get out the vote. This election is important. Peel away from the Bush base the true conservatives who are disgusted with environmental looting, foreign adventurism, exploding deficits, and traitorous mis-use of intelligence (to name a few). Get undecided and wavering voters to vote Kerry on the basis of the economy among other issues.

Bless all you hard-working people! That includes John Kerry!

I'm excited, exasperated, nervous, hopeful, scared, and anxious all at the same time. I am filled with dread at the prospect of four more years with * and his cabal of oil Barron empirical tyrants while at the same time filled with hope at the prospect that a Kerry administration may slow this country from the brink of what may be an inevitable tumble over a cliff to the reality of peak-oil, the rape of the natural world as we know it, erosion of personal liberty, the decimation of the Bill of Rights in every aspect of American life, and the possibility of any semblance of peace here at home or abroad.
