from moonwatcher@bartcop:

Rory O'Connor who did the FRONTLINE report on Moon has an article up at Media Channel and his blog on Carlton Sherwood, the Kerry slandervid maker.

or this post on his blog has more info.

excerpt:
Officials from Sinclair did not return phone calls yesterday seeking comment for this article.

Mr. McAuliffe also blasted the film's producer, Mr. Sherwood, describing him as a "disgraced former TV reporter." The Democratic Party chief noted that in 1984 a Washington television station retracted and apologized for a series of news reports Mr. Sherwood prepared about alleged improprieties involving fund-raising for the Vietnam veterans memorial in the capital. The station said it conducted an internal investigation into the stories and "turned up no evidence" to support the central charges in the series.

Democratic operatives noted that Mr. Sherwood worked for the Washington Times and was accused of unethical behavior while producing a book on the Unification Church.

Here's Gorenfeld's post on some of what Sherwood must have missed if he found that Moon's organization is the most persecuted "religion" in the last 100 years.

note: the $120 million dollar figure mentioned in the Gorenfeld post as being conned out folks in Japan by Moon was by 1987. Since then, in the non litigious Japan, there have been some 20,000 claims totaling $800 million. The Japanese lawyer's group fighting this swindling says that figure is less than 1/10 of the money Moon made this way. That would mean he made $8,000,000,000.00 .... that's EIGHT BILLION to finance conservatives and the Washington Times. Why not news?

read about that starting at footnote 45+ in appendix "B" here:
