2006 CA Governor's Race: Arnie v. Bill Clinton
Who can we field who can knock off the gropenator?

First person that comes to mind: Bill Clinton

Hear me out on this: Caliifornia's a complete fiscal train wreck, and Bill'd be an excellent guy to take on the problem. CA still loves him, and I think that its time that we start rehabilitating Bill, and start washing aside all the crap that the VRWC threw at him. Plus wouldn't it be sweet to have the RNC's golden boy lose to the big dog?

2. Clearly, you haven't thought this all the way through ...
Bill Clinton is hardly the cure for all things political.

3. Why in the world would BC want to do that?
Sure, he'd be able to do it, and love the glory, but why, other than the glory, would he want the aggrivation?

No slam to Ca. I've been there, and there are a lot of very nice places and a lot of very nice people, but there are also a LOT of big problems! BC is having a good time in his life now. He's been through the trauma of being a public servant. Why in the world would he want to do it again?

5. DiFi was Mayor of San Francisco before she became Senator
And she certainly got her street cred in the way she came to be Mayor. Back when she was first in the Senate she participated in a debate on gun control and whoever was in charge tried to "little lady" her (as in: Little lady, you just don't understand the mystique of gun ownership and you have no real-world experience on this topic.) Diane Feinstein rather memorably set him straight.

I don't want to think of California as ungovernable, but we definitely need help. I think she's tough enough and smart enough -- but would she even want the job?

8. screw that horrid nasty witch!
she wont be giving up her membership in the Senate that easy, but if you think her anti-gun platform makes up for her real agenda, I would suggest you think again.

7. I don't want BC to waste his time. He needs to be President of the world
Gadaffi was right about him and Nelson Mandela and Gorbochev.
