2. That plan is too forward, and could backfire. But there's nothing saying..

... Kerry aides can't mess with the thermostat (like, turning it up to 90degF?). And there's nothing preventing Kerry from taking off HIS jacket and saying "Hot in here, huh George?"

As far as the plan in the link backfiring, clever quips by Kerry aside, if Bush does not have a wire, you'd have an "if the glove don't fit / you must acquit" moment. Kerry would look like a fool.
