He works at the American Enterprise Institute. Is he a liberal who works at AEI or is he another conservative?

I thought he was a RWer too, but he doesn't sound like it on Al's show today.

I listened to him on Franken, and he had nothing but bad things to say about shrub and everybody else in this admin. If he's really RW, they're going to be really pissed at him today!!!

Al makes Liddy seem likeable. And don't forget, all those AEI people were all on board for the PNAC and if they weren't they sure didn't show any siddent from it.

7. AEI used to be more traditionallly conservative |
|
Focussed on free enterprise kinds of issues, and domestic policy. It's only recently that it became the house organ of neoconservatism. Ornstein's been with AEI since forever, and is kind of a holdover from its previous incarnation. He's one of those denizens of "permanent Washington" who basically exists to be quoted. He's not particularly extreme.

10. He is the only AEI person I can stand. |

Joe Conason interviewed Norm for his book on Bush's lies. Norm seems like a decent fellow in spite of the company he keeps.
