2. Unless you force somebody to enter a absentee ballot... |
|
I cannot understand how you can compel a vote when the voting booth is private?

have just as much sense as Male Freepers. While some may be cowed into voting Repuke, I bet most came to their decision just like their male counterparts.
The shallow end of the gene pool, don't you know.

6. Well, I was a closet Democrat around my parents too. |
|
It kept the peace with the paterfamilias and stopped the nagging from the materfamilias on politics anyway. They surely must have figured out whose side I was on by my actions though, like joining a union and going on strike, as well as championing liberal causes.

8. I know of several women |
|
who don't confront their husbands over politics. People assume the wives are like-minded, politically. But they've privately confided that they vote for the Dems. It's their own little rebellion. They just don't want the harranguing if they made their real views known. Isn't that incredibly sad?

When you visit the sites where the right wing wives hang out, the first thing that they do is post: "I've got my mom, dad, brother, sister, daughter, son and husband voting for *"!
Dimwits don't know no better!
