1. So what else is new? They've been doing that since he was inaugurated.
And probably before.

2. To be fair -- many are not.
And also, to be fair -- I wouldn't exactly shed a tear if Bush died, though, like many of them say of Clinton, I'd rather see him in jail. And I'm sure most here share that sentiment.

8. Many Nazis wished for the death of the Jews
Some did not, I'll bet.

But ALL went along with it.

Nazis are Nazis.

Totalitarians are Totalitarians.

Freepers are Freepers.

9. I detested Reagan's policies, but felt a little sad when he died.
Alzheimer's is a terrible way to go. I also really felt bad for Nancy, and thought it was moving when she was patting the coffin with her hand. It must have been very difficult for her and for his children to witness his decline over the years.

3. I go camping every labor day ...
in the Adirondacks with some friends from my home town.

This year (Friday morning of Labor day weekend), the news was about Clinton going into the hospital for heart surgery.

Typically we hear a bit a Hillary bashing, but it does not dpominate the weekend. Not one of these people can name a single piece of legislation that they disagree with her about. They just say, Tax and Spend Liberal, blah blah blah. This just goes to show that they don't like her because of the D after her name.

This year it was a constant Clinton bashing festival. They were hoping and praying for him to die, so that the Government would save some money not having to provide him with security.

Thats a great plan to control spending. Meanwhile we spend 1.1 Billion dollars in Iraq every FUCKING week.

Needless to say, we will no longer be attending this trip any more.

Cheers
Drifter

5. One of the pricks posted....
..."Years of coke abuse will do that to a ticker."

Can you say PROJECTION??? I'm sorry, but I'm pretty damned sure that it's Chimpy McCokeSpoon that has the reputation as a former coke user--not Big Dawg.

6. Total projection
The "Clinton" argument is something right-wingers constantly resort to, and it's amazing consider that the current president is George W. Bush - who is a "worst case scenario" President. I would totally prefer Clinton to handle the terrorist threat than W.

Everything they accuse Clinton of doing, Bush has done worse.

7. Hate is what they're good at

but they sadly lack any clever vices that make them genuinely amusing, let alone virtues.
