I truly think that it's
racism that holds many of these * supporters. Mike Malloy opined that the Republican Party was the only surviving legitimate racist organization in the U.S.

Probably a poor religious person who votes for * based on the "moral" issues: abortion, gay marriage, etc.

5. It's the same mentality as the vets
who feel Kerry "betrayed" them.

They don't want to believe that their comrades died for a bad cause, because of a bad decision. This guy probably doesn't want to believe that his son wound up where he did for nothing. For ego and oil. He'd rather delude himself that it was for a noble cause.

It's not rational thinking but I do have compassion for him.
