1. Bush would just make that goofy "what-the-hell" face... |
|

...that he kept making at the first debate. The gesture would go right over his head. Or he'd pretend that it did.

4. If they can 'have him remove his jacket', they won't. |
|
Because that'd mean the remote control would be revealed.

3. Oh. My .Goodness. You've got it. |

All these people here at DU are hoping that Kerry calls out Bush on the bulge thing... that's just not going to happen.
But a subtle, unspoken act like that could speak volumes. Kerry doesn't have to mention it, challenge Bush to do the same, or anything. Kerry innocently takes off his jacket, and then everyone starts to wonder, "why does Bush still have his jacket on?"
The only downside is that the format doesn't lend itself to dressing down. Kerry might look goofy standing formally behind a podium without a jacket.
The town hall debate would've been the best time to try this.

7. Opening his jacket might be enough |
|
Just unbuttoning it, pretending to adjust it and his collar...or he could rub his neck a little as if he had a kink in it.
I remember how my mother would squeal like a groupie Jackie Wilson appeared on TV, because he liked to take off his jacket and fling it over his shoulder. These days, of course, he'd either have to strip completely or set himself on fire!

5. About the transmitter/receiver thing |
|
over at linuxquestions.org (not a political site, but they were discussing it there anyway), one poster said that he thought it odd that in this day and age they would need a receiver that was so big it could be seen under a jacket. To which another poster replied,
"yeh but it had to be that way to handle all the bullshit."

White noise. In Shrub's ear.
All we need to do is get him to yell "Mother F****!!!" and we win the election.
