I Just Canceled my Washington Post Subscription |
|
The paean to the Conservative Punk was the last straw.....
They also ran a huge apologia to Clarence Thomas, describing his wise mentoring.
This is in addition to the daily Kerry Trashing.
I guess when Kat Graham died, so did the paper's conscience.
The guy that took my call to cancel acted suprised when I told him that the Post has become a Right Wing Rag.
Anyway, the NY Times delivers to my neighborhood now.......

4. newspapers are like olden times anyways |
|
they are right on par with wagon wheels ... leftovers from bygone days. I can't wait until they are finally, truly dead and more trees can be saved. With the internet, who needs a paper newspaper anyway?

7. I canceled the NY Times because it was too Right Wing for me. |
|
Until the fire David Brooks they can keep it. The only refuge I found is right here on DU and to be honest, I'm much happier! Once in awhile I'll pick up the Sunday Times. It's just plain depressing that journalist don't write factual anymore.

What took you so long?
Whatever you do, don't subscribe to the Wall St. Journal, your head will explode.
