1. Not really. It's one of about 100 threads. Still doesn't much matter.

11. EEEWWW!!!
I was reading last night about 'Narcissist Personality Disorder'. Seems to me Chimp has the required traits. Also, I am firmly convinced of his being a sociopath (which Bundy also was).

I am not all that thrilled about capital punishment, but admit to having been quite gleeful when Ted was ejected from the earth.

I don't think I would be tearful if Chimp took a flyer into the ozone (as a result of war crimes tribunal, of course...due proccess...)

6. How many times do I have to say it?
This is not bleeding-edge technology! This is done and used and manufactured every steekin' day! Yes, the features that someone like E-Systems(big gubmint communications contractor for SpecOps, CIA, Secret service and the like...) have crammed in there are SURELY state of the art(Stong signal encryption, digitally activated and controlled frequency agility, FM sidebanding, et al, ad nauseaum), but the baseline technology is almost pedestrian.

This stuff, even with the features, is used every day. It is not a stretch that those freaks that surround Dear Leader have grabbed that system to use to keep their boy on an intellectual leash.

9. Here's why it looked rounder and bulkier in the second debate.
All models are shipped as a kit including <b> carrying pouch</b>

They strapped the damn thing on him in the carrying pouch to mask the hard edges.

10. Salon.com is still saying he was wired.
Randi Rhodes said that Karen Hughes was giving the chimp his answers. The article is on Salon.com if anyone wants to read it.

Technical expert: Bush was wired
A Bush spokesman tells Salon there is nothing to the story. But as the final presidential debate looms, speculation grows about the mysterious bulge.

By Dave Lindorff

Oct. 13, 2004 | Speculation continues to run wild about President Bush's mystery bulge. Since Friday, when Salon first raised questions about the rectangular bulge that was visible under Bush's suit coat during the presidential debates, many observers in the press and on the Internet have wondered aloud whether the verbally and factually challenged president might be receiving coaching via a hidden electronic device.

Now a technical expert who designs and makes such devices for the U.S. military and private industry tells Salon that he believes the bulge is indeed a transceiver designed to receive electronic signals and transmit them to a hidden earpiece lodged in Bush's ear canal.

"There's no question about it. It's a pretty obvious one -- larger than most because it probably has descrambling capability," said Alex Darbut, technical and business development vice president for Resistance Technology in Arden Hills, Minn. Darbut examined photographs of the president's back taken from the Fox News video feed at the first presidential debate in Coral Gables, Fla., as well as 2002 photos of the president driving and working in a T-shirt on his Crawford ranch, which were posted on the White House Web site.

Darbut speculates that the device the president wears is provided by the Secret Service, noting, "They're not going to have him driving around the countryside on his ranch without being in instant contact with him." <snip>

14. "Salon is saying"
"Randi Rhodes said"
"Speculation continues to run wild"
"he believes"
"it probably"
"Darbut speculates"

Whatever. Does it truly matter? YAH, he'd be a liar, but what is news about that???? Pfffft.

16. What's news about the President
of the United States being fed answers to questions because he's too fucking stupid to answer them on his own? Oh, I don't know. Doesn't sound like news to me. :eyes:

17. LOL
I'm sorry, I'm a female and I shouldn't say this, but when I read your line that Randi Rhodes said Karen Hughes was feeding him his lines...

I immediately thought about Bill Mahr's remarks about Bush sounding like a girl on the rag, or whatever it was he said...

...you can finish the thought yourself.

ugh. I wish I could get that thought out of my mind!!!!!
