Congressman Bill Thomas is on my ballot.

I was gerrymandered into his district (22nd Congressional District of California) before the last election. No one is running against him. He is the head of the Ways and Means Committee, you know the one that pushes legislation through at midnight before anyone has a chance to read it.

I want to write in a candidate but don't know whom to write in. What is considered acceptable? I just want to see that votes are taken away from him. This man is despicable and the only reason he is so secure in his district is because he is bought and paid for by big corporate agri-businesses and the brain-dead freepers from the Central Valley who vote for him because he dangles a few carrots in front of them. No one has the money to oppose him by running against him.

I want to write in a candidate. Can it be anyone, or does it have to be someone with political aspirations? I am really vague on this part of election laws.

He's the one who tried to have our Congressional Democrats arrested! I wish I could help on the election law, but I can't. I just needed to get my 2 cents in on Thomas. He's such a vile creature. :puke:

7. Not quite.

Lois Capps kept a small part of the coast. It's like a panhandle going from Santa Barbara County up to Morro Bay, but Thomas got the rest.
