Why tax decreases don't encourage my family to spend:
Bush keeps pushing this tax decreae as if it's going to be enough to stimulate the economy. He forsees all of us running out to buy the kind of impractical products that helps support all kinds of small businesses. But the flaw is that $1000.00 here or there just isn't enough to raise our level of security. It's knowing that we'll have a job in six months, or a year, that builds the kind of confidence that enables consumerism. Tax decreases and outsourcing our jobs is simply not going to create that security.

Hey, I'm a security mom, afterall. It's just not terrorism that I'm concerned about the most.
