Bush is dismayed by how partisan Washington D.C. is.
Oh, puhlease. He's been wanting it his way ever since he went into office. He hasn't even made an effort to compromise. If you want to find a leader that did try to be a president to both parties, it was Clinton. And look where that got him.

well, if the goon squads like Scaife and Ahmanson hadn't tried to bring down Clinton, and if Bush and the Supremes engineered a little coup, then lied their asses off in the midterms, then proceeded to try to implement a radically right wing program that DOES NOT HAVE A MANDATE...

then maybe we wouldn't be so divided now.

The far right in this country started the fight, and now they can't understand why they get back the hate they give?
